Who we are

Turing Automate is an AI automation agency operating at turingautomate.com. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Turing Automate is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, you can reach us at [email protected].

What information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and run the site:

• Information you give us. When you send us a request or contact us, that typically includes your name, email, company name, and the project details you share with us.
• Information collected automatically. If you agree to analytics cookies, we collect basic usage data (such as pages visited, approximate location, and device and browser type) to understand how the site is used. We use Google Analytics for this, with IP anonymisation on, and we never use it to identify you personally or to target advertising. If you decline, none of it is collected.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Respond to your request or enquiry, and prepare a plan and quote.
• Deliver and support the services you ask us to build.
• Improve the site and understand what visitors find useful.
• Meet our legal, accounting and contractual obligations.

Legal basis for processing

Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases. We process your request and enquiry details to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and to perform that contract once work begins. We use your information for site analytics and improvement on the basis of our legitimate interests in running and improving our business. Where you opt in, for example to our newsletter, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We also process some data to comply with our legal obligations.

AI and data handling

Because we build AI automation, data safety matters. A few clear commitments:

• We do not train AI models on your data. Your information is not used to train or fine-tune general AI models.
• Data is scoped to the work. When we build automations, we use only the data needed for that specific task, and only for that purpose.
• Flows are documented. We document where data moves in the systems we build, so you always know what goes where.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as far as they need it to do their job. These act as our processors and include:

• Our CRM, to manage requests and client relationships.
• Email providers, to correspond with you.
• Analytics providers, to understand site usage.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers, to run the site.

Each provider is bound by a contract to protect your data and use it only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

Data retention

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above: to respond to your request, deliver services, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. When it’s no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it. If you’d like us to delete your data sooner, ask us.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have rights over your personal data, including the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your data, where we have no overriding reason to keep it.
• Object to or restrict how we process your data.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator.

Cookies and analytics

We keep cookies to a minimum. The only cookies that are not strictly necessary are the ones Google Analytics sets, and they are never set unless you press Accept on the banner. Decline, or leave it unanswered. Analytics remains disabled, keeping analytics cookies off your device and analytics data out of Google. Advertising, remarketing and cross-site tracking cookies are not used.

Separately, we use a little local browser storage to remember your preferences (like reduced motion), your analytics choice itself, and the page you first arrived from, so we can respond to your enquiry in context. You can clear all of this at any time through your browser settings.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent approved mechanisms) so your data stays protected to UK standards.
